Michael and Fred have been digging in on the creek line again and clearing more of the banks and laying stone down to help stop erosion, stabilise banks and control water flow. Opening the creek up like this is also really helping to visually connect the currently disparate parts of the gardens. It’s slow hard manual labour. Thanks for the effort guys!
Fred has been also working on clearing the space over run with weeds on the creek edge behind the nut trees and between the native gardens space and the shed. A great use for the numerous wooden slices has been found!
The level walking space really opens the place up and assuming we get a summer next year [and not another 6 months of rain like this year] it will be a nice place to sit in the heat.
